Remulak has the best personality! Remulak was rescued from an Arizona hoarder and came to Best Friends with a buddy. She's settled-in remarkably well. Sure, she's a little shy at first, but it's nothing a few treats can't overcome.

When first meeting her, just let her sniff you for a moment, offer her an olive branch, and enjoy petting her to your heart's content! She's not what you'd call a lap cat, but she loves to sit next to you for petting and conversation. That's right, Remulak likes to talk to you and is really interested in what you have to say.

Because of her initial shyness, Remulak will fit more easily into a home with older children. She's great with other cats, and we think she would really enjoy having a feline friend. But what she would enjoy most is being your friend. Would you like to be hers?

Rescued from an awful hoarding situation in Winnipeg, Canada, Vera and several others were brought back to Best Friends for a little TLC. Because people had always let her down before, Vera has a hard time believing this time will be different. It's been slow going, but she has really started coming out of her shell. She's getting lots of attention to help her. The one time she can let her guard down and be totally free is with her doggie pals, so a home with other canine friends would be best for her. With so much shyness to overcome, she'd also love a home without children.

Though she is hesitant at first to get into a car, she enjoys looking out the windows once the car is moving. She also has a blast looking out the windows of the hotel or cabin when she goes on a sleepover. She is very interested in what you are doing; washing dishes, brushing your teeth, etc. Definitely check out her video below where a couple describes their sleepover time with her.

This sweet girl has possible slight hearing loss. She's looking for a patient person who can show her the love she deserves without rushing her. Vera is healthy and just needs to gain more confidence. Could you help her learn that people can be kind and loving?
