Huawei announces MediaPad 7 Youth Android Jelly Bean tablet

Huawei has unveiled another new, affordable Android tablet, this time called MediaPad 7 Youth.

The tablet has an aluminum unibody design, weighs 350 grams, it?s 9.9mm thin, and obviously sports a 7 inch display. The display resolution isn?t specified, but it?s probably not higher than 1280 x 800 pixels.

Running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the MediaPad 7 Youth also features HSPA+, Wi-Fi, dual-core 1.6GHz processor, and a 4,100 mAh battery.

According to Huawei, the MediaPad 7 Youth will be available starting this quarter in Europe (including Russia), China, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. The tablet?s exact price hasn?t been announced, but it?s going to be on the low side anyway.
