Fidelity Investments building a $200-million data center in Papillion

A Sarpy County city will be home to one of the world?s largest providers of financial services. A state of the art Fidelity Investments Data Center will be built in Papillion. They are investing an estimated 200-million dollars to construct and outfit the data center. Construction will start immediately and is scheduled to open in 2014. When it is complete the data center will employ approximately 30 to 35 associates.

Fidelity is the first firm to use the Tier 2 Plus ? Large Data Center provision that was contained in the recently amended Nebraska Advantage Act. During the 2012 Legislative session LB 1118 was passed creating that additional Tier 2 to the Nebraska Advantage incentives.
