Keiton Page's scoring flurry helps OSU outlast Texas Tech

STILLWATER -- Keiton Page scored 10 of his 23 points in the last 2:40 - including two critical 3-point baskets - and Le?Bryan Nash matched a career-high with 21 points in sparking shorthanded Oklahoma State to a 67-59 victory over Texas Tech in a Wednesday night Big 12 opener at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Nash scored 16 points in the first 16 minutes of OSU?s first game since it was announced that starting forward Jean-Paul Olukemi would miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

The Cowboys led by 11 points at halftime and were up by as many as 13 points in the second half, but the Red Raiders crept within 57-55 before Page, who finished with 19 points, hit the first of two game-sealing 3-point baskets.

Tech was down 60-57 when Page made another 3-pointer with 58.7 seconds left.

OSU improved to 8-6. Texas Tech dropped to 7-6.

Page has scored 20 or more points in three consecutive games since moving to the starting point guard position.

OSU committed only two turnovers, the lowest figure since the school started keeping track of the statistic.
